Decorrelated unbiased converted measurement for bistatic radar tracking

چکیده
Bistatic radar target tracking is challenging due to the fact that measurements are nonlinear functions of Cartesian state. The converted measurement Kalman filter (CMKF) converts raw into coordinates prior and superior extended for certain problems. challenges CMKF debiasing approximating error covariance. Due no closed form biases, we utilize second-order Taylor series expansion conventional conversion find bias in bistatic propose unbiased (UCM). In order decorrelate covariance from noise, evaluate using prediction Bayesian recursive filtering, designated as decorrelated (DUCM). Monte Carlo simulations show DUCM consistent, exhibits an improved performance compared with UCM tracking.

Radar Measurement and Tracking
While radar search and target detection are essential to radar use, most applications also require measurement of target characteristics. These may include target position and velocity, as described in Sections 8.1 through 8.3, and indicators of target size, shape and rotation, as described in Section 8.4. The use of multiple radar to improve measurement accuracy is discussed in Section 8.5. Co...

Accurate three-dimensional (3D) tracking in bistatic forward scatter radar (BFSR) is a challenging problem because of absent range resolution and poor measurements. In this article, an accurate 3D tracking method of BFSR is proposed. Aiming to overcome the filter divergence caused by large initial state estimation error, firstly, an accurate initial state estimation approach is presented based ...
متن کاملMulti-target Direction Measurement on Bistatic MIMO Radar
In recent years, multiple-input multiple output (MIMO) radar has been widespread concern in the domestic and foreign researchers. Bistatic radar draws on the great success of MIMO technology in the communications field and it has many advantages over conventional radar. In this paper, the direction angles estimations of bistatic MIMO radar are researched. To contrast traditional radar DOA estim...

متن کاملBistatic and Multistatic Radar Systems
Radar systems, based on bistatic radar concept attracted a substantial attention in the recent years. Passive coherent location systems using “transmitters of opportunity” like radio or TV broadcasters, GSM base stations, satellite communication and GNSS signals proved their potential in detection and tracking moving targets over a significant area. In this paper the multistatic location system...
